DCMI Working Groups

DCMI Working groups are organized around specific problem domains. Working groups are formed and dissolved as dictated by the work at hand and the availability of expertise to accomplish such work.

Working groups have chairs and co-chairs who also serve as members of the DCMI Advisory Board. Participation in working groups isto interested members of the community with the time and expertise relevant to the domain of the group. Deactivated Groups

As the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative matures, Working and Special Interest groups are deactivated either because their work has been completed, the issues are no longer being addressed, or because the group has decided to change the focus of the issues. In any case, these deactivated groups remain part of the historical record of the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative.
